On this day trip to Lake Titicaca and Isla del Sol, we will explore one of the most iconic places in Bolivia and South America.

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in La Paz. From here, we'll start our journey to Copacabana, a city on the shore of Lake Titicaca, enjoying views of the Andean landscape over 4 hours.

Our first stop will be the Copacabana Church, where we will admire its colonial architecture and learn about its historical significance. We'll also explore the city's traditional markets for souvenirs and handmade gifts.

You will have an hour of free time to eat at a local restaurant, where you can try Bolivian cuisine, including fresh fish from Lake Titicaca.

After lunch, we'll board a boat on Lake Titicaca, the highest lake in the world and one of the largest in South America. We will head to the south part of the Isla del Sol, visiting the Pilkokaina Palace, an ancient Incan construction, to learn about Incan history. Afterwards, we will continue to Yumani, a town featuring the Three Fountains of the Incans, known for its water sourced from Lake Titicaca.

After touring Isla del Sol, we'll return by boat to Copacabana and then take a bus back to La Paz, ending the trip after a total of 14 hours.
