Magdalena Bay Whale Watching

Between 8 and 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in La Paz and travel to Magdalena Bay to see gray whales up close.

We will board a boat to search for these marine mammals. During the excursion, we will also view the dunes, mangroves, and endemic birds of the area.

Whales are likely to surface at any moment. Adult cetaceans can weigh up to 35 tonnes (over 77,100 lb) and demonstrate remarkable movements and acrobatics.

After observing the whales, we will disembark and return to La Paz for a typical lunch at a local restaurant, and then take you back to your hotel, arriving between 7 and 8 pm.
