Hike Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at Sagarnaga Street, 242 in La Paz before making our way to Nevado Charquini. Hiking boots at the ready?

Our first stop will be La Apacheta Viewpoint, an hour's drive away. From this lookout, you'll enjoy views and learn about the offerings that take place in this sacred spot. Following this, we'll visit the Milluni Mining Cemetery, a historic and cultural site providing insight into the life of miners in Bolivia.

After another hour's drive, we'll reach the starting point for our hike to Charquini Lagoon. During the trail, you'll experience the natural landscapes. Once we reach this lagoon, you'll have some free time to rest, take photos, and eat in this natural environment. Don't forget to bring your packed lunch!

After re-energizing, we'll begin our return journey to our transport. Following a total of 3 hours hiking, we'll return to La Paz and conclude at our initial meeting point after a total of 7 hours.
