Lake Titicaca and Tiwanaku Trip

We'll pick you up from your hotel in La Paz and begin our journey to the ruins of Tiwanaku.

After a 2-hour journey, we'll arrive at Tiwanaku, a city significant for the Inca Empire, which inhabited these lands more than 2,500 years ago. We will tour the ancient city, which comprises seven major architectural constructions: Kalasasaya, the semi-subterranean temple, Akapana pyramid, Kantantika, Kerikala, Putuni, and Puma Punku. Additionally, the tour includes a visit to the Tiwanaku Museum and key sites like the carved stone monoliths and the Sun Gate.

Following our visit, we'll head to Huatajata, a village along Lake Titicaca, known as South America's second-largest lake and the world's highest lake you can sail on. We will enjoy lunch featuring local dishes and visit the Reed Rafts Museum to learn about traditional boatcrafts. The day concludes with a pleasant sail on the tranquil waters of Lake Titicaca.

After the day of exploration, we will return to La Paz, arriving at your hotel approximately 9 hours later.
