Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at the emblematic Plaza San Francisco, a square rich in history and home to the famous church of the same name. From here, we'll begin our walking tour of La Paz, exploring its streets and sites that have witnessed the battles and progress of the women of this city.

We'll begin strolling along Sagárnaga Street, known for its cultural and colorful shops. As we walk, we'll discuss how the women of La Paz worked tirelessly to be educated and have control over their bodies.

The tour will continue in the district of Max Paredes, where women entrepreneurs from La Paz lead businesses through their hard work and determination. Here, you'll learn how important these businesses are for the local economy.

Continuing our walking tour, we'll make our way to the Mercado Rodríguez, a market where the variety of fruits and vegetables reflects the gastronomic richness of La Paz. Next, we'll head to San Pedro, a neighborhood known for the prison that shares its name.

Finally, after this 2.5-hour tour, we'll arrive at Avenida 20 de Octubre, where we'll visit the Virgen de los Deseos building. This place serves as a restaurant and café and stands as a symbol of female empowerment in La Paz. The perfect ending to our tour celebrating illustrious women!
