Valle de la Luna and Mount Chacaltaya Trip

In the morning, pick-up will occur at your hotel in downtown La Paz. We will travel for approximately two hours across the Bolivian altiplano to reach the base camp of Mount Chacaltaya.

Here, a short 650-foot hike will take us to the summit, where you can enjoy panoramic views. After capturing this scene, we will descend and proceed to the Valle de la Luna.

Upon arrival, we will explore the area on foot with a gentle walk due to the lower altitude. A guide will explain the origins of the rock formations and the story behind the name of this area.

The trip concludes with a return to La Paz in mid-afternoon, dropping you off at the Plaza de San Francisco.
