Excursion to Valley of Souls & Palca Canyon

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your La Paz hotel at 8:30 am. From there, we will travel south, departing from the capital and heading towards the serene wonders of Bolivia's nature.

Our first destination is the Valley of Souls. Here, you will have the opportunity to trek through its distinctive rock formations while discovering the fascinating story behind its unusual name. As we ascend to the peak, prepare to be captivated by stunning panoramic views of the vibrant and undulating landscape.

Following our exploration, we will proceed to Palca Canyon, where you will witness sheer cliffs reaching up to 656 feet (200 meters) that extend throughout the canyon's 5-mile (8-kilometer) stretch. The dramatic shapes of these cliffs are a testament to the forces of nature, sculpted by melting snow and powerful winds.

After a thorough visit, you will enjoy one hour of leisure time to wander and absorb the beauty of the surroundings before we conclude our excursion and head back to La Paz. We will return to the city by 3:30 pm, arriving at San Francisco Square.

Pick-up Information

The tour includes pick-up from accommodations located in the historic center of La Paz. If your hotel is situated outside this area, we will arrange to meet you at San Francisco Square at 8:30 am.
