Traditional Boat Trip in the Bay of La Rochelle

We will meet at the pier of Avenue Michel Crépeau to start the sailing trip in the bay of La Rochelle.

The cruise takes place aboard the Viking Ljö, a traditional boat built in 1961, measuring 12 meters (40 feet) in length and 3 meters (10 feet) in beam, with a maximum capacity of 12 passengers.

The journey will not enter the Atlantic Ocean but will provide a pleasant cruise in the bay. From the boat, we will see the Tour de la Chaîne and the Tour Saint-Nicolas, the well-known watchtowers by the Vieux Port.

We will also view the Tour de la Lanterne and pass by Port La Rochelle and the Phare du bout du monde, known as the lighthouse at the end of the world, which has an intriguing history.

After a crossing of 1 hour and 15 minutes, we will conclude the boat trip by returning to the embarkation point.
