Day Trip to Pisa & Bay of Poets for Cruise Ships

Day Trip Overview

Our adventure will commence at the cruise terminal in Spezia, where we will gather and check everyone in. Once all participants are present, we will embark on a bus ride lasting approximately 1 hour, taking us directly to Pisa. Are you prepared?

Upon arriving in Pisa, we will drop you off at the renowned Piazza dei Miracoli. Here, you will have the opportunity for self-guided exploration. This square is home to the illustrious Leaning Tower of Pisa along with other significant landmarks.

During your allotted 2 hours of free time, feel free to wander through the historic center and capture delightful photographs. We suggest visiting Piazza dei Cavalieri and strolling down Via Santa Maria to sample some regional delicacies typical of this Tuscany area.

When our time in Pisa concludes, we will board the bus once more to continue our journey along the stunning Ligurian coastline, heading toward the Bay of Poets. Are you excited to explore either Lerici or Sarzana?

Weather permitting, we will explore one of these charming towns. Lerici, often referred to as the gem of the Bay of Poets, is famous for its vibrantly colored houses lining the port. Alternatively, Sarzana is home to the impressive Fortezza Firmafede, the Cathedral of Santa Maria, and the historic Napoleon's house.

After completing our visit, we will return to our initial meeting point, where this fulfilling 6-hour excursion will conclude.
