Gulf of Fonseca 2-Day Tour

Day 1

At 12 pm, we'll meet at 5A Avenida Norte in La Union to start this 2-day tour of the Gulf of Fonseca, recognized as one of the best natural harbors in the world.

We'll begin by visiting the protected area of the Conchagua volcano for panoramic views. Alternatively, you can choose to visit Las Tunas beach when booking for a relaxing day.

A guided tour of the village of Conchagua follows, where you can see some of the oldest churches in El Salvador and visit a local market to taste 'pupusas', a local delicacy.

We will return to La Union for the night.

Day 2

After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to the harbor to board our boat for a Pacific sail. Our first stop will be Meanguera Island for a half-hour tour of its grounds, learning about its volcanic origin and the convergence of El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaragua.

Next, we'll visit Zacatillo Island for two hours, allowing time to enjoy its cuisine and scenery. Our final stop will be Conejo Island before returning to La Unión.

The tour concludes at the same starting point from day one.
