Why visit the Romanesque churches of the Vall de Boí?
Booking the ticket to the churches of the Vall de Boí provides the opportunity to discover these architectural jewels declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. The complex comprises eight churches and a hermitage. The entrance ticket allows access to five Romanesque churches open to the public: Sant Climent de Taüll, Sant Joan de Boí, Santa Eulàlia d'Erill la Vall, Sant Feliu de Barruera, and Nativitat de Durro. Also included is the screening of a video mapping that recreates the 12th-century paintings inside Sant Climent de Taüll.
These constructions were built during the 11th and 12th centuries, influenced by Lombard Romanesque. Visiting the interiors reveals the beauty hidden behind their walls.
