Flight Over the Nazca Lines
Your day will begin at 4:00 am when you gather at the Cruz del Sur bus terminal in Lima. After boarding the bus, you can use the 8-hour travel time to relax until we arrive in Nazca.
Upon arrival, we will head to the Maria Reiche aerodrome, where we will view a brief introductory video that will prepare you to identify the various figures visible from the aircraft. Then, the moment to take to the skies will arrive!
We'll board the plane, and as the pilot ascends, you'll have the opportunity to marvel at an extensive area of about 1000 km² (10,000 ft²) from above. Keep your eyes peeled for the remarkable designs etched into the earth, including the monkey, spider, whale, astronaut, and dog. How many can you find?
After this exhilarating experience, you will have some leisure time to wander around Nazca and enjoy a meal. We will reconvene at 10:45 pm to board the bus for our return trip to Lima, with an expected drop-off back at the starting point by 5:30 am.
