Embark on a captivating free walking tour of Los Angeles, where we will delve into the rich history and beginnings of this enchanting City of Stars as we navigate through its bustling Downtown area.
Tour Overview
If you’re new to Los Angeles and uncertain about where to begin, join us at 600 W 1st Street at the scheduled time for this complimentary walking experience. During the tour, you will encounter the key highlights of the city while gaining insights into its intriguing past.
We will begin by appreciating the stunning façade of the Walt Disney Concert Hall, created by the acclaimed architect Frank Gehry. From this point, our path will lead us through the vibrant streets where we will journey back to 1781, the year marking the city’s inception. Fascinatingly, its name is derived from a 16th-century Spanish tale! Currently, Los Angeles stands as a major global hub for culture and entertainment.
During our exploration of Downtown, notable stops will include landmarks like The Broad, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and the historic Angels Flight Railway.
Next, we will make our way to Grand Central Market, an excellent venue to savor the city's vibrant culinary scene. Following this, we will pass by the Bradbury Building before reaching the impressive Los Angeles City Hall.
Our tour will conclude at La Placita Olvera after approximately two hours of enjoyable exploration.
