On this free tour of Los Angeles, we’ll uncover the history and origins of the City of Stars with a walking route through its vibrant Downtown.
Tour Details
At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at 600 W 1st Street to begin this free walking tour of Downtown LA, where you’ll see the city’s main highlights and learn about its fascinating history. We’ll start by admiring the exterior of the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Then, we’ll stroll through the streets of Los Angeles back to 1781, the city’s founding year. We will explore iconic landmarks, including The Broad, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and the historic Angels Flight Railway.
Next, we’ll visit Grand Central Market to experience the city’s culinary diversity, and pass by the Bradbury Building before stopping at Los Angeles City Hall. After around two hours, we’ll end the tour at La Placita Olvera.
