On this free tour of Los Angeles, we’ll uncover the history and origins of the City of Stars with a walking route through its vibrant Downtown.

Tour Details

We’ll meet at 600 W 1st Street to begin this free walking tour of Downtown LA, where you’ll see the city’s main highlights and learn about its fascinating history.

We’ll start by admiring the exterior of the Walt Disney Concert Hall, designed by architect Frank Gehry. From there, we’ll stroll through the streets of Los Angeles back to 1781, the year of the city’s founding, which is derived from a Spanish legend. Los Angeles is now a central cultural and entertainment hub.

As we explore Downtown, we’ll visit iconic landmarks such as The Broad, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and the historic Angels Flight Railway.

Next, we’ll visit Grand Central Market to experience the city’s culinary diversity, followed by a stop at the Bradbury Building and Los Angeles City Hall.

After around two hours, we’ll end the tour at La Placita Olvera.
