West Coast Tour: 8 Days

On this 8-day West Coast tour, we’ll journey from Los Angeles to Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley, and Las Vegas.

Itinerary

Day 1: Los Angeles - Santa Barbara - Carmel - Oakland

We’ll meet at the Starbucks at the Los Angeles Farmers Market to start our journey. Our first stop is Santa Barbara for a visit to an old Spanish mission, followed by Solvang. Next, we’ll drive along the 17 Mile Drive, stopping in Carmel for free time before heading to Oakland for the night.

Day 2: Oakland - San Francisco - Modesto

After breakfast, we’ll drive to San Francisco, explore Fisherman’s Wharf, and take a scenic cruise on the bay for views of Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island. Free time for lunch at Pier 39 and a guided tour of San Francisco’s landmarks follows, before returning to Modesto for the night.

Day 3: Modesto - Yosemite - Stevenson Ranch

We’ll explore Yosemite National Park and see giant sequoias, El Capitan, Bridalveil Fall, Half Dome, and Yosemite Falls, then head to Stevenson Ranch for the night.

Day 4: Stevenson Ranch - Las Vegas

After breakfast, we’ll travel through Death Valley to Las Vegas, stopping at the Barstow outlet for lunch. In Las Vegas, we’ll tour the Las Vegas Strip and see famous hotels before checking into our hotel.

Day 5: Las Vegas

We’ll visit the Hoover Dam and discuss its history and significance. The afternoon is free to explore Las Vegas.

Day 6: Las Vegas - Sedona - Page

We’ll drive through the Mojave Desert to Sedona, stopping at Oak Creek Canyon for photos. Free time for lunch follows, then we’ll visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross and head to Page for the night.

Day 7: Page - Monument Valley - Horseshoe Bend - Page

We’ll explore Monument Valley on a jeep tour with a Navajo guide and stop at Horseshoe Bend for photos before returning to Page.

Day 8: Page - Antelope Canyon - Valley of Fire - Las Vegas

We’ll visit Antelope Canyon and have lunch before stopping at the Valley of Fire. We’ll return to Las Vegas in the early afternoon, concluding at the Luxor Hotel.

Itinerary Changes

Please note that in winter, from November through March, Yosemite Park will not be visited; instead, we will tour Monterey.
