Melissani Lake and the Drogarati Caves await... Discover the most fascinating historic and natural sites on the Greek island of Kefalonia on this day trip from Zante.
Kefalonia Day Trip
We will pick you up from your hotel in Zakynthos and drive to the north of the island. We'll stop at the port of Skinari to take a ferry to Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia. The boat trip lasts between 1 hour 30 minutes and 2 hours. Upon arrival in Argostoli, we will tour Kefalonia and visit the Monastery of Agios Gerasimos, the island's patron saint, and view Mount Ainos.
We will also visit the Drogarati Caves to admire the stalactites and stalagmites, followed by Melissani Lake, where we'll board a boat to see its turquoise waters. After the boat cruise, we'll go to the village of Aghia Efimia for free time to have lunch. We will then make a photo stop at Myrtos Beach to admire views of the Ionian Sea.
Our final destination will be Argostoli to take the ferry back to Skinari. After docking on Zante, we will return you to your hotel, scheduled 11.5 hours after pickup.
