Patagonia Glacier Cruise + Lunch

The tour leaves from La Soledad port in the morning, beginning our cruise to view the glaciers of Argentinian Lake. We'll visit key points in the Glaciers National Park, starting with the "Dry Glacier," which is shrinking, and features land and vegetation amidst the ice.

Next, we will admire the Heim and Spegazzini Glaciers, notable for their impressive height of 135 metres. Afterward, we will disembark at Puesto de Las Vacas for a 40-minute hike with a guide sharing the area's history against a stunning Patagonian backdrop.

Upon completing the hike, we will approach the Upsala Glacier, the third-largest glacier in the Southern Hemisphere, covering 870 square kilometres. From the boat, you can see its vast ice expanse used by military forces in Antarctica.

Following this, a delicious lunch will be served on board as we navigate the Canal de los Témpanos, reaching the north side of the Perito Moreno glacier, the highlight of this excursion. Finally, we will disembark at La Soledad port at about 5 pm, after which we will either say goodbye or provide transport back to your hotel, depending on your reservation.

Pickup & Transfers

For those opting for hotel pickup, we will collect you from your hotel in El Calafate at the scheduled time and return you there after the excursion. Otherwise, we will meet at the port of La Soledad.
