Lagos’ vibrant streets echo with centuries of adventure, danger, and history around every corner. On this self-guided walking tour of Portugal’s historic maritime center, I’ll share remarkable tales about the Age of Discovery, the swashbuckling pirates who roamed the seas, and the shadows of the transatlantic slave trade.
The tour starts in Lagos’ old town square, Plaza Infante Dom Henrique. From there, you’ll follow cobblestone streets to the imposing Castle of Lagos, built in the 700s, where soldiers once defended the town from invaders.
Tickets will be delivered post-booking by email or physically delivered to your hotel
