Tekapo Stargazing
On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the indicated time on Andrew Don Drive, just a four-minute drive from the Tekapo city center, and commence this stargazing experience.
At our stargazing location, we'll embark on an astronomical journey from ancient stories of constellations to scientific facts. Our guide will explain various astrological theories, including Greek mythology and Maori legends.
Sitting outside with blankets and hot chocolate, we'll observe stars through a 9.25-inch computerized telescope as we learn about the solar system's complexity.
As we near the end of our time together, we'll gather around a fire pit to roast marshmallows while admiring the night sky.
Finally, after 1.5 hours, we'll conclude the activity and say our goodbyes.
