Tekapo Stargazing
On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the indicated time on Andrew Don Drive, a four-minute drive from the Tekapo city center, to start this stargazing experience.
At our stargazing location, with nearly zero light pollution, we'll begin an astronomical journey covering ancient stories of constellations and scientific facts. Our guide will present different astrological theories , including Greek mythology and Maori legends.
Sitting outside with blankets and hot chocolate , we'll view a variety of stars through a powerful 9.25-inch computerised telescope while learning about the solar system's complexity.
As we conclude our time together, we'll gather around a fire pit to roast marshmallows and enjoy our final moments admiring the starry sky.
Finally, after a total of 1.5 hours, we'll say our goodbyes.
