We will meet at the designated time at the Quinta da Portela de Baixo winery in Lamego to begin the guided tour. Ready to learn more about Portuguese wine? Let’s start!

Upon arrival at the winery, you will appreciate the 15 hectares (37 acres) of vineyards. The guided tour will commence, allowing us to see the wine production and storage room and the Cellar Museum, where we will explore the history of Port wine and its production process.

Next, depending on the weather, we will proceed to the gardens or a panoramic room to taste six types of wine produced at the Quinta da Portela de Baixo, including sparkling wine, DOC Douro white and red wines, and three types of Port wine. The tasting will be paired with regional products such as bôla, olive oil, cheeses, and jams.

The guided tour will conclude after about an hour and a half at the starting point.
