Embark on an adventure along the path of the Dakar Rally with this exploration of Quebrada del Yeso. Experience one of the most desolate and dry areas located in the La Rioja province.

Description

Have you ever considered traversing the route of the Dakar Rally? We'll begin by picking you up at your hotel in La Rioja, after which we will journey in a 4x4 towards Quebrada del Yeso. Let’s start the adventure!

Throughout this journey, we will navigate through some of the most extreme landscapes in the area, unveiling the trajectory of the Argentine segment of the Dakar Rally during its South American stint. The La Rioja province hosts one of the largest tracks of the rally, thanks to its rugged topography. Get ready to feel like a true rally racer!

This exploration will also allow us to cross over the Bermejo River and the foothills of La Rioja, all in a 4x4. Throughout the tour, we will make several stops to capture stunning photographs of the surrounding nature. There will also be a moment allotted for a quick snack.

On the latter part of our journey, we will witness the striking reddish terrains typical of the La Rioja region and traverse the semi-arid pathway that extends 12 km across the Sierra de los Colorados.

At the end of this 11-hour excursion, we will make our way back to the hotels, concluding the tour.
