On this tour through the villages of the Rioja coastt, we'll explore the beautiful towns in the region, including Agua Blanca, Las Peñas, and Chuquis.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in La Rioja before heading to the remarkable area of the Argentine province known as the Riojan coast, which does not have any coastline. This will be explained during our tour.

We'll first pass through Las Padercitas, Quebrada, and Túnel. We will see the Los Sauces dam and the town of Sanagasta, characterized by its low-lying houses and narrow roads, creating a unique landscape.

Our tour will then take us to the caves of Salamanca and Valle del Huaco. We will cross the homonymous slope, passing through picturesque villages at the foot of the Sierra del Velazsco - Agua Blanca, Las Peñas, and Chuquis, where we will stop at Castro Barros' house museum.

We will continue along the coast of La Rioja, visiting the towns of Pinchas, Aminga, and Anillaco, before returning to your hotel in La Rioja about 5 hours after pickup.

Depending on the conditions and roads, our return trip may be via the mountain road or past the Señor de La Peña, a large solitary rock resembling the head of Christ, where thousands of pilgrims gather every Holy Week.
