Tour Details
You'll begin the day leaving from La Rioja, heading to Ischigualasto Park, known as Valley of the Moon Park.
Ischigualasto Park features unique geological landscapes, with grey rock seas and water-eroded valleys. You will experience this natural landscape through a walking tour and bus ride. Over 4 hours, you will view impressive geological formations and popular sites, including the submarine, the worm, and the mushroom. The tour includes stops at several lookout points for views of Valle Pintado and Cancha de Bochas, the latter characterized by round grey rocks.
You will have lunch in the park; please bring a picnic basket. After lunch, you will return to La Rioja to visit Talampaya National Park. Upon arrival, a bus tour will provide insights into this World Heritage Site.
The tour will showcase the park's immense rock walls and geological history. After the Talampaya bus tour, you will return to La Rioja, expected to reach your hotel by 8 pm.
