Buggy Tour

We'll meet at Puerto Plaza Hotel & Shops in Las Terrenas to begin the buggy tour of the Samaná Peninsula. Our ride will take us through dirt trails, rivers, beaches, and traditional villages while showcasing tropical landscapes filled with coffee, cacao, and tobacco plantations, significant to the region's history.

During the tour, we'll stop at a traditional house to enjoy a traditional Dominican lunch, featuring various local specialties. After lunch, we'll continue our exploration on buggies, visiting more plantations to learn about the production of organic coffee and cacao, as well as the artisanal process of making Dominican cigars.

Finally, we will return to the meeting point, concluding the 6-hour tour.

Important Info

Each buggy accommodates 4 people: a driver and 3 passengers, who can take turns driving if requirements are met. To drive the buggy, participants must be over 18 and possess a driver's license.
