Neither skydiving nor bungee jumping can claim to be the king of extreme sports. That honour goes to aerobatic flying, and on this flight, you'll feel the excitement of the exhibition arena and have a chance to fly yourself!
Options
When making your booking, you'll be able to choose between three options, depending on which experience you'd like to take part in. Below you can see details of each experience:
Aerobatic Flight Experience
Operation Recon
For the less adventurous, this is the best option. Learn the basic rules of aerobatic flight and then take off! The pilot will perform manoeuvres such as 360º turns, loop the loops, and barrel rolls.
The Afterburner
In this option, you'll get the chance to be the pilot, with instruction provided by a flight instructor. After a brief introduction, you'll perform maneuvers such as inversions, tailslides, and the Cuban Eight, experiencing forces of up to 8G.
Aerial Combat
This option allows for 30-40 minutes in the air piloting the plane, performing aerobatic manoeuvres, engaging in up to 5 aerial combats, and simulating a low-altitude bombing run. You can shoot your adversary with a laser, causing the plane to expel smoke and fall into a tailspin when hit.
Plane
The experience uses the Extra 330LC, the most advanced acrobatics plane, with 330 horsepower and a speed of up to 400 km/h, certified for forces of up to 10G.
Security
The plane has two spots: you sit in front, and a professional pilot will be behind you. The pilot will control the plane during most of the flight, except in the Afterburner and Aerial Combat Experiences.
Requirements
You must weigh between 36 and 122 kg (80 and 269 lbs), be less than 1.98 metres (6 feet 5 inches), and have no heart, neck, or back problems, nor motion sickness. This activity is not suitable for pregnant women. The aerial combat experience requires two participants; if only one, you'll battle against an instructor in another plane.
Photo and Video
The plane has 3 cameras installed. You can purchase the video of your experience on-site.
