Death Valley Tour
Despite its name, Death Valley is a notable location in the Mojave Desert. It is known for its extreme heat in summer and its status as the lowest elevation area in North America.
Picks up from Las Vegas hotels occur between 5:45 and 6:30 am, followed by a 1.5-hour drive to Death Valley National Park, located on the Nevada-California border.
During the drive, several stops will be made at key sites, including the Rest Stop Area 51 souvenir shop, Death Valley Nut & Candy Co, Rhyolite Ghost Town, and Hell's Gate, the entrance to the park.
Around 10:30 am, a stop will be made near the Mesquite Sand Dunes for an American-style breakfast. The tour will continue to notable sights such as Badwater Basin, a salt flat at 86m (282 feet) below sea level, and Zabriskie Point, a viewpoint offering expansive views of the landscape.
Participants will experience diverse geological features, including mountains, valleys, sand dunes, canyons, and colorful hills formed by minerals.
The final stop before returning to Las Vegas will be in the town of Pahrump for a rest break.
Drop-off back at Las Vegas hotels will occur around 4:15 pm.
