Grand Canyon West Rim Day Trip
We will meet at Treasure Island Hotel in Las Vegas, then depart for the Grand Canyon. The journey includes crossing the Colorado River and passing through the Mojave Desert, guided by our narrator.
After approximately 2.5 hours, we will arrive at Grand Canyon West for around 4 hours of free exploration. At Eagle Point, enjoy views of a rock formation resembling an eagle. We will then visit Guano Point for panoramic views of the Colorado River and remnants of an old aerial tramway to Bat Cave.
Before departing, we will explore the Hualapai Ranch, learning about the Hualapai Tribe and the Grand Canyon's geology.
On our return trip, we'll stop at the Arizona Joshua Tree Forest, Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge for views of the Hoover Dam, and Hemenway Park in Boulder City to view local Bighorn Sheep before returning to Las Vegas.
