Grand Canyon West Rim Day Trip

Meet at Treasure Island Hotel in Las Vegas for the day trip to the Grand Canyon. The journey includes crossing the Colorado River and the Mojave Desert with guided narration.

After approximately 2.5 hours, arrive at Grand Canyon West, where you will have about 4 hours to explore. Visit Eagle Point for views of a rock formation resembling an eagle, and climb to Guano Point for panoramic views of the Colorado River. Here, remnants of an old aerial tramway to Bat Cave can be seen.

Before leaving, visit the Hualapai Ranch for exhibits on Native American culture and the geology of the Grand Canyon.

On the way back, stop at the Arizona Joshua Tree Forest, Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge for views of the Hoover Dam, and Hemenway Park to possibly see Bighorn Sheep. Return to Las Vegas at the meeting point.
