South Rim Sunrise Day Trip with Antelope Canyon + Horseshoe Bend

On this day trip to the South Rim from Las Vegas, we will experience a sunrise over the Grand Canyon, along with visits to Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend.

Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up at your Las Vegas hotel and head east into the Arizona desert.

We will pass the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign and stop midway for a restroom break and breakfast on your own.

After approximately 4.5 hours, crossing the Mojave Desert and the Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, we will arrive at Grand Canyon National Park, recognized as one of the main natural wonders of the world.

Upon arrival, we will visit the South Rim, stopping to watch the sunrise and take in the views of the rock formations shaped by the Colorado River.

After the sunrise, we will proceed with a 2.5-hour drive to Horseshoe Bend, where we will explore its geological history.

Next, we will take a short 15-minute drive to Antelope Canyon for a guided visit. A break for lunch will follow for 1 hour at your convenience. We will then begin the 4.5-hour return trip to Las Vegas, making stops for restrooms and to photograph Lake Powell at the Glen Canyon Dam.

We will conclude this 18-hour day trip by returning to your hotel in Las Vegas.

Schedules and Pickup Points

The day trip includes pickup from hotels on the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown. Pickup times vary by season:

April to August

Pickup will be between 10 pm and 12 pmReturn will occur between 6 pm and 7 pm

September to March

Pickup will be between 11 pm and 1 amReturn will happen between 7 pm and 8 pm
