Meet us in front of the Lausanne Aquatis Vennes Aquarium, and we will head straight toward the Canton of Bern region.

After a brief 2-hour journey, we will arrive at the Harderbahn station along the Aar River. Here, we will provide you with tickets to ride the funicular railway to the Harder Kulm lookout point station. In just 10 minutes, you will reach 1,322 meters (4,337 feet) above sea level.

From this vantage point, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Bernese Alps, Interlaken, and the two lakes bordering the city: the Brienzersee and the Thunersee.

After taking in the views, you will return via the funicular. Once at the bottom, we will meet you at the entrance to the railway and proceed to the historic downtown area of Interlaken. You will have the rest of the day free to explore the city and sample traditional flavors.

Recommended activities include visiting commercial streets that offer a variety of Helvetic products and trying local specialties such as chocolate and traditional fondue.

Finally, we will pick you up from downtown Interlaken for the return trip to Lausanne, arriving about 12 hours later.
