On this day trip to Interlaken, experience one of Switzerland's most beautiful cities with a funicular ride to the Harder Kulm lookout point for a view of the Bernese Alps.

Meet us in front of the Lausanne Aquatis Vennes Aquarium, and we will head to the Canton of Bern region.

After a 2-hour journey, we will arrive at the Harderbahn station along the Aar River. You will receive tickets for the funicular railway that takes you to the Harder Kulm lookout point station, reaching 1,322 meters (4,337 feet) in just 10 minutes.

From this vantage point, enjoy panoramic views of the Bernese Alps, Interlaken, and the surrounding lakes: Brienzersee and Thunersee.

Afterward, you will return via the funicular. We will meet you at the railway entrance and proceed to the historic downtown area of Interlaken, where you will have the rest of the day free to explore and taste traditional flavors.

Recommendations include the commercial streets with Helvetic products such as pocket knives and cuckoo clocks. Be sure to visit local chocolate shops or dine on traditional fondue.

Finally, we will pick you up from downtown Interlaken for the return trip to Lausanne, arriving about 12 hours later.
