Walk along the highest glacier in Europe on this trip to Jungfrau. You'll travel the Alps by rack train, go through an ice tunnel and explore a village between two lakes.

Jungfrau Trip

We'll meet at the designated time and travel through valleys and mountains to Interlaken, the tourist capital of the Bernese Alps. We'll stop briefly to admire views of lakes Thun and Brienz.

Next, we'll proceed to Lauterbrunnen, situated in a notable U-valley of the Alps. Here, we will board the rack train and cross the alpine landscape to reach the highest train station in Europe - 3454 meters.

Upon arrival at Jungfrau, we can enjoy the views and walk along the mountain. We will visit the Sphinx Observatory to relax and take in the panoramic views from the peaks of Eiger and Mönch.

We will then enter the glacier's heart by walking through the ice tunnel and learning about the history of this UNESCO World Heritage site.

After our Jungfrau visit, we will return to Interlaken, where you will have free time to explore the narrow streets and typical shops of the village.

The tour concludes with a bus ride back to Lausanne, totaling 12 hours.
