Montreux Excursion + Chaplin's World

On the scheduled day, we will gather at Rte de Berne 10, marking the beginning of our journey towards the outskirts of Montreux.

Our path will follow the stunning shoreline of Lake Geneva, taking us through the enchanting Swiss Riviera to the quaint village of Corsier-sur-Vevey. Here, you will find Chaplin's World, an expansive museum that celebrates the life of the legendary actor. You'll have ample opportunity to explore this captivating museum before we proceed to the next stop.

The adventure continues as we traverse the Lavaux region, distinguished by its extensive terraced vineyards, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After soaking in the breathtaking views, we will visit the Château de Chillon. This historic fortress, positioned on the banks of Lake Geneva, has inspired numerous writers throughout history, including the esteemed Lord Byron.

Next, we’ll venture into the heart of Montreux, where you will have a generous two hours to enjoy lunch and leisurely explore the old town. One highlight to photograph is the statue of Freddie Mercury, located beside Lake Geneva. It is known to be one of Switzerland's most photographed landmarks.

Our journey will conclude with a return to our original meeting point in Lausanne, with an anticipated arrival time between 5:15 pm and 5:45 pm.

The tour will be conducted in English. For groups with fewer than 10 participants, a driver will provide insights about the attractions. In larger groups exceeding 10 individuals, a dedicated guide will accompany you throughout the tour to enhance your experience.
