Maya Full Moon Ceremony

At 8 pm, we'll meet at the indicated starting point in Holbox and proceed to the beach for the Maya Full Moon Ceremony. Upon arrival, we will be welcomed by the shaman leading the ritual. They will explain the steps of the full moon ceremony.

The Maya people referred to the moon as Ixchel. Our spiritual guide will share the moon's significance to this ancient civilization, emphasizing its role as the goddess of love, gestation, medicine, and textile work.

Illuminated by torches and accompanied by rhythmic music, the shaman will facilitate a connection with nature, the moon, and the sea. Prepare for an inner journey in search of spirituality.

Following this magical ritual, we will conclude the activity with a kayak trip on the calm waters of Holbox island, enjoying the beauty of this Mexican Caribbean paradise under the starry sky.

At 10 pm, we will return to the meeting point.
