On this private day trip to Chichen Itza from Isla Holbox, you'll visit important archaeological sites with an exclusive guide and stop at the Pueblo Fantasma Cenote for a swim.
Day Trip Details
We'll pick you up at the selected meeting point to proceed to the Holbox pier and take a ferry to Chiquila's port. Following this, we'll drive to Chichen Itza.
During the drive, you'll have access to fresh fruit, coffee, water, and soft drinks while learning about the history and culture of the Mayan civilization.
Approximately 5 hours after pickup, we will arrive at Chichen Itza. For 2 hours, we will explore this ancient ceremonial centre, viewing the Temple of Kukulcan and other monuments. This site is recognized as one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.
After our exploration, we will return towards Chiquila, stopping at Pueblo Fantasma Cenote for lunch featuring traditional Yucatecan dishes, and the opportunity to swim in the cenote.
2.5 hours later, we will head back to Chiquila's port to take the ferry to Holbox, concluding the trip at the island's central park after a total of 13 hours.
