Snorkelling with Whale Sharks in Holbox

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Calle Palomino and start the day with a breakfast of yoghurt, granola, fruit and freshly baked bread, accompanied by coffee or tea. During breakfast, we'll provide a safety briefing and assign your snorkelling equipment. Afterward, we will head to the dock to board the boat for our trip into the warm waters of the Mexican Caribbean. We will share interesting facts about the whale shark, the largest fish in the world, which can reach up to 12 metres (39 ft) in length.

We'll don our snorkelling gear and search for various specimens. Whale sharks arrive each year to feed on plankton along the coasts of the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea. In addition to whale sharks, look for hawksbill turtles and devil rays. After swimming, we will stop at Los Cuevones reef off Cabo Catoche to see species such as cat sharks, octopus, and squid.

After the swim, we'll enjoy fish or mango ceviche in Santa Paula, a perfect spot to relax in the sun. The activity will last between 6 and 7 hours, concluding back at the meeting point.
