At the indicated time, we'll meet at Calle Palomino and start the day with a breakfast of yoghurt, granola, fruit, and freshly baked bread with coffee or tea. During breakfast, we'll provide a safety briefing and assign snorkelling equipment. Once prepared, we'll head to the dock to board the boat for our trip into the warm waters of the Mexican Caribbean. Interesting facts about the whale shark, the largest fish in the world, will be shared during the journey. It can reach lengths of up to 12 metres (39 ft).
We'll equip ourselves with snorkelling gear and search for various specimens. Hundreds of whale sharks arrive annually to feed on plankton along the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea, and you will see them in their natural habitat. Additionally, look out for hawksbill turtles and devil rays.
After swimming with whale sharks, we'll stop at Los Cuevones reef off Cabo Catoche to snorkel for more species such as cat sharks, octopus, and squid.
After swimming, we'll enjoy a delicious fish or mango ceviche in Santa Paula, ideal for relaxation in the sun. The activity lasts between 6 and 7 hours, concluding back at the meeting point.
