Ticket Details

Your ticket allows exploration of the abbey at your own pace, showcasing a blend of Romanesque and Gothic architecture built since the 10th century. In addition to the church, the abbey features the "Marveille," where monks lived, including structures from the 12th century, the cloister, and the refectory. The lower levels contain crypts and the Saint Martin Chapel, revealing the site's diverse history.

Masses for pilgrims are regularly held in the church, depending on the date of your visit.

The Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey is open:

May 1 to August 31: 9 am to 7 pmSeptember 1 to April 30: 9:30 am to 6 pm

Final admission is 1 hour before closing. Opening times are subject to change.

Special Opening Times

On December 24 and 31, 2025, the Abbey will close at 4 pm.

Free Admission

Admission is free for:

Young people from the EU aged 18 to 25.Children under 18, regardless of nationality.

Additionally, free admission is available on the first Sunday of the month from January to March and November to December, and during the 3rd weekend of September. To obtain a free ticket, visit the ticket office with proof of eligibility.
