Discover the beautiful locations along Italy's Ionian Coast when you take our fantastic tour from Lecce. Travel back in time to the town of Nardò, visit some picturesque coastal villages, and take a dip in the beaches of Gallipoli.

Ionian Coast Trip from Lecce

We will pick you up at your hotel in Lecce and head to Nardò, the second-largest city in the Salento region. There, we will explore the historic center, where you will encounter the Cathedral and the Church of Saint Dominic. We will also visit the Castle of Acquaviva to learn about the Middle Ages.

The next stop is at the ruins of the Torre Uluzzo watchtower, dating back to 1575, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the coastline.

We will then visit the small coastal town of Santa Caterina, the fishing village of Santa Maria al Bagno, and the Four Columns medieval fort. Strolling through these historic streets, you will experience local culture.

The last stop is the coastal town of Gallipoli, featuring imposing 14th-century city walls rich in Ancient Greek and Roman heritage. Here, you can relax on the beaches, visit the cathedral, and enter the castle to learn about the town's history.

We will finish the excursion in Lecce, where we will accompany you to your accommodation.
