Lecce Wine Tour

We will meet at Vico de Argenteris 16A at the designated time to begin our tour of Lecce's best wineries. The Salento region of Puglia is known for producing some of Italy's most famous wines.

In the historic old town of Lecce, we will learn about the Salento wine tradition and the unique culture of this area. Visits to the top wine shops will allow us to taste Negroamaro, Primitivo, and Susumaniello wines from some of Salento's oldest vineyards. Experience the colors, smells, and tastes of these ancient wines.

As we move between wineries, we will admire Lecce's heritage, including significant sites like Porta Napoli and the Basilica of Santa Croce. Our exploration will also include a visit to the ruins of the Roman theater and amphitheater before concluding in Piazza del Duomo three hours after the tour begins.
