Leeds Walking Tour
At 10:30 am, we will meet in front of the Town Hall, the starting point of the guided walking tour of Leeds.
After leaving the Town Hall, we will head to the central City Square, where we will see the various statues, including the statue of Edward "The Black Prince." During the tour, we will explore the significance of the eight nude nymphs holding lamps in the square.
Continuing through the city's streets, we will arrive at the Leeds Corn Exchange, a Victorian-style shopping center exemplifying Leeds' blend of old and new.
Leeds is a prominent city for shopping. After visiting the Corn Exchange, we will stroll through Kirkgate Market, one of the largest indoor markets in Europe.
Finally, we will visit Victoria Quarter, a network of interconnected covered shopping spaces featuring marble, mosaics, and intricate ironwork.
The guided tour will conclude at noon outside of Victoria Quarter.
