Leeds Walking Tour

At 10:30 am, we will meet in front of the Town Hall, the starting point for the guided walking tour of Leeds.

We will proceed from the Town Hall to the central City Square, where we will see various statues, including the statue of Edward "The Black Prince." We will learn about the eight nude nymphs holding lamps in the square during the tour.

Continuing through the city streets, we'll arrive at the Leeds Corn Exchange, a Victorian-style shopping center, demonstrating how Leeds combines the old with the new.

Leeds is a great city for shopping. After visiting the Corn Exchange, we will stroll through Kirkgate Market, one of the largest indoor markets in Europe.

Finally, we will explore Victoria Quarter, a network of interconnected, covered shopping areas featuring marble, mosaics, cast and wrought iron, and carved mahogany.

The guided tour will conclude at noon outside of Victoria Quarter.
