Leeds Walking Tour
At 10:30 am we'll meet in front of the Town Hall, the starting point for this guided walking tour of Leeds.
After leaving the Town Hall, we'll head to the central City Square, where various statues, including the statue of Edward "The Black Prince," are located. The significance of the eight nude nymphs holding lamps in this area will be explained during the tour.
We will continue through the streets until we reach the Leeds Corn Exchange, a Victorian-style shopping center that exemplifies the blend of traditional and modern elements in Leeds.
Leeds is an excellent city for shopping. After exploring the Corn Exchange, we'll visit Kirkgate Market, which is one of the largest indoor markets in Europe.
Finally, the tour will conclude at the Victoria Quarter, a network of interconnected, covered shopping spaces featuring marble, mosaics, cast iron, wrought iron, and carved mahogany.
The guided tour will end at noon outside of Victoria Quarter.
