Meet us at the Leiria Castle ticket office, the starting point of our guided tour of this fortress. We will explore its interior, inaugurated in 1135 and well-preserved, while discussing its construction mandated by the first king of Portugal, Alfonso Henriques, designed to defend the kingdom's borders.

We will discover significant monuments within the city, including the Church of Nossa Senhora da Penha, the ancient Pazos Reales, and the Main Tower, offering stunning views. Following our insight into the fortress' history, we'll walk to the Leiria Cathedral, known for its unique narrative despite its austere exterior.

Continuing through Leiria, we will visit the Casa de los Pintores and the Casa de los Arcos. Our final stop will be the Jewish Quarter, recognized for its preserved medieval layout.
