Meicin Valley Snowshoeing Tour
We'll meet at the recreational area of Tuiza de Arriba to start this snowshoeing tour through the Vega del Meicín. The tour begins at an altitude of 1230 metres (4035 feet). Weather permitting, we'll put on our snowshoes shortly after departure and follow a path leading to a mountain refuge.
During the tour, we'll pass several huts and view the peaks of Las Ubiñas. Depending on snow conditions, we may extend the route by climbing to the Mollás Valley for panoramic views of the Vega del Meicín and its mountains.
We will stop at the Meicin refuge to enjoy views while having lunch and a hot drink. The descent back to Tuiza will take us through expansive snow-covered meadows.
We will return to our starting point approximately 3 hours after we begin. We look forward to seeing you next time!
