Meicin Valley Snowshoeing Tour

We'll meet at the designated time in the recreational area of Tuiza de Arriba to start this snowshoeing tour through the Vega del Meicín.

We'll depart from the Asturian village, located at an altitude of 1230 metres (4035 feet), following a path leading to a mountain refuge. Depending on the snow conditions, snowshoes will be put on shortly after departure.

During the tour, we'll pass several huts and see the impressive peaks of Las Ubiñas in the background. If snow conditions permit, we may extend the route by ascending to the Mollás Valley for expansive views of the Vega del Meicín and its mountains.

We'll reach the Meicin refuge to take a break, enjoy a lunch, and have a hot drink while taking in the scenery. From there, we'll descend to Tuiza through vast snow-covered meadows.

The tour concludes approximately 3 hours after we start. We look forward to seeing you next time!
