Why Visit the Casa Botines?
Located in the Plaza de San Marcelo in León’s historic center, Casa Botines is a modernist building housing a museum dedicated to Antonio Gaudí. Known for his few works outside Catalonia, this building is significant in León. Your ticket includes an audio guide for a detailed exploration of the building's history, starting on the main floor with physical and virtual recreations of its past businesses, including a fabric store from 1893 and a bank office from 1931. The audio tour ends on the second floor, featuring a recreation of a 19th-century home designed by Gaudí and the interactive exhibition Gaudí, the Architect of Dreams.
