Why Visit the Casa Botines?
Casa Botines, located in the Plaza de San Marcelo in León’s historic center, houses a museum dedicated to Antonio Gaudí. Although Gaudí is known for his works primarily in Catalonia, this impressive building in León is significant. With your ticket, you can explore the main floor and learn about the building's history, along with experiencing both physical and virtual recreations of past businesses, including a fabric store in 1893 and a bank office from 1931. It is recommended to visit the second floor to see a recreation of a 19th-century home designed by Gaudí, and the interactive exhibition Gaudí, the Architect of Dreams.
