In this bicycle tour of León, we'll discover the city of Guanajuato, visiting its key monuments while learning about its history.
Description
We will meet at Wagner St. for the bike tour around León. We will begin cycling through the historic centre of León, visiting main attractions such as the Parque Explora, Complejo Ferial, Forum Cultural de Guanajuato, and the Puente del Amor.
Our route continues along the Calzada de los Héroes, where we will see the Arco de la Calzada, Temple of Atonement, and Manuel Doblado Theater. We will make stops at various monuments to appreciate and learn about the cultural heritage of León.
Towards the end, we will cycle by the Murals of the Municipal Palace and the Museum of Leonese Identities. The tour will conclude with a visit to a shoe factory to discuss the significance of the leather and shoe industry in León.
Lastly, we will enjoy a cebadina, the typical drink from León, before returning to the meeting point after 3 hours of cycling. See you next time!
