Description

At the specified time, we'll meet at Avenida del Tecnológico 308 to begin a unique tour around León.

First, we'll visit a shoe factory to learn about the shoe-making process and the tradition and quality of León's shoe industry. You'll see some shoes being made!

After the factory, we’ll go to the centre of León to explore major monuments. We will pass the Arco de la Calzada, marking the entrance to the historic centre. Remember your camera!

Next, we will visit the Templo Expiatorio, a neogothic church renowned for its facade. Then, we’ll proceed to the San Juan de Dios neighbourhood, known for its cobbled streets and colonial houses, featuring artisanal shops, art galleries, and cafes.

Now for the food. We'll visit a bar famous for its guacamayas, a traditional dish from León consisting of a special bread roll filled with pulled meat, sauce, and avocado.

To accompany the guacamaya, we’ll enjoy a local drink called cebadina, made from fruit and herbs. Finally, we’ll visit an ice-cream parlour to try the flavoured snow, as León is known for its variety of ice-creams.

After 4 hours, we’ll end this tour of León in the San Juan de Dios neighbourhood.
