Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Avenida del Tecnológico 308 to start a special tour around León. Let's begin!

Firstly, we'll visit a shoe factory, where we will learn about the process of making shoes and the tradition that defines the shoe industry in León. Live demonstrations of shoe making will be available.

Next, we'll go to the centre of León to view major monuments. We will pass by the Arco de la Calzada, marking the entrance to the historic centre. Ensure to bring your camera!

Then, we will visit the Templo Expiatorio, a neogothic church with an impressive facade. Following this, we’ll explore the San Juan de Dios neighbourhood, known for its cobbled streets and colonial houses, including artisanal shops and cafes.

Now for the food portion of the tour. We'll visit a bar renowned for its guacamayas, a local dish made of a bread roll filled with pulled meat, sauce and avocado.

Alongside the guacamaya, we'll enjoy a local drink called cebadina, made from fruit and herbs. To conclude, we will stop at an ice-cream parlour for flavoured snow, highlighting León's variety of ice-creams. After 4 hours, the tour will conclude in the San Juan de Dios neighbourhood.
