Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Leon, after which we will head towards San Miguel de Allende, renowned as one of Mexico's most stunning towns.

In just a short 2-hour drive, we'll arrive at our initial destination: the vineyards of San Miguel. An interesting tidbit about Guanajuato, the state we are in, is its robust winemaking heritage. Prepare to dive into the intriguing narrative of the local wine industry as we examine its historical backdrop. We will highlight prominent wineries that have contributed to the region’s esteemed winemaking journey.

Upon arrival, we will embark on a journey through the vineyard. A guided tour will allow us to explore the various facilities integral to the winemaking process.

To enhance our understanding of the craft, we'll indulge in a wine-tasting experience, paired with a scrumptious cheeseboard that showcases the distinct flavors of the wines produced right here. Following this, you'll have some leisure time at the San Miguel Winery Restaurant, where you can enjoy a delightful lunch at your own pace.

Our journey will then lead us to the historic center of San Miguel de Allende. During a walking tour, we’ll wander through its lively and colorful streets, uncovering the unique features of its colonial architecture and churches.

Throughout the tour, we will pause at several notable landmarks, including the House of Captain Ignacio Allende, the temple of La Purísima with its ancient cloister, the church of San Miguel Arcángel, and the Ángela Peralta Theater.

Finally, we will commence our journey back to Leon, concluding this enriching day approximately 7 hours later at your hotel.
