San Miguel Allende Day Trip + Winery Visit

We will pick you up from your hotel in Leon and head to San Miguel de Allende. After a 2-hour drive, our first stop will be the San Miguel vineyards, located in Guanajuato, known for its winemaking tradition. We will explore the history of the region's wine and learn about the wineries that have influenced the area.

Upon arrival, we will take a guided tour of the winery's facilities critical to the winemaking process. This experience will include a wine-tasting session accompanied by a cheeseboard. Following this, you will have free time at the San Miguel Winery Restaurant for a lunch at your own pace.

Next, we will proceed to the historic downtown of San Miguel de Allende for a walking tour. We will explore the colorful streets and examine the unique characteristics of the colonial buildings and churches.

During the tour, we will visit significant monuments such as the House of Captain Ignacio Allende, the temple of La Purísima with its ancient cloister, the church of San Miguel Arcángel, and the Ángela Peralta Theater.

Our return journey to Leon will conclude around 7 hours later, dropping you off at your hotel.
