We'll kick off this hiking journey through the Sierra de Lobos by meeting at the designated location on Boulevard Adolfo Lopez Mateos in Leon.

Situated approximately 50 minutes from the city, the Sierra de Lobos Natural Protected Area is an ideal location to immerse yourself in Guanajuato's natural beauty. This area is known for its oak forests, grasslands, and diverse landscapes, including the Lajas River Canyon and Los Panales.

Upon arrival, we'll set off on foot, venturing through the grasslands of Sierra de Lobos. This route offers the opportunity to explore the mountain slopes and learn about its biological diversity, with your guide providing insights into the area's flora and fauna.

We'll take a break along the Lajas River, enjoying a breakfast of homemade gorditas, made from corn or wheat dough and filled with savory ingredients.

Continuing our hike, we'll uncover the river's natural pools and venture into the canyon's depths to see the large stone monoliths known as Los Panales.

In the final leg, we'll ascend to one of the area's viewpoints for stunning views of the Sierra de Lobos. Don't forget your camera!

We'll return to the starting point of our hike and head back to Leon, concluding our tour after five hours.
