Description

Day 1

We'll meet at the boardwalk of Leticia and begin our adventure through one of Colombia's densest jungles. We'll board a boat to reach Puerto Nariño. After arriving, we'll take a guided tour of the town's landscapes and architecture. Dinner will be provided at the hotel, followed by a jungle exploration in rubber boots and headlamps.

Day 2

The day starts with a canoe ride to the Peruvian Cacao Island, exploring Amazon trees and possibly spotting a sloth. After lunch, we’ll enjoy a boat ride on the Loretoyacu River to observe its biodiversity, including various fish and reptiles. A nocturnal expedition will follow in search of black caimans. We will have dinner and overnight accommodations in a cabin by Lake Tarapoto.

Day 3

After breakfast, we’ll float down the Amazon River for 2 hours to Mocagua, where we will learn about Amazonian tribal traditions. A traditional lunch will be served, followed by a visit to the Mocagua Monkey Sanctuary. The day will conclude with an overnight stay in the hotel in Mocagua.

Day 4

On the last day, we will travel back to Leticia after breakfast at the hotel in Mocagua. Departure will be at either 7 am or 10 am. After returning to Leticia, we will conclude our tour at the initial meeting point.
