Tour Details
Day 1
We will meet at the boardwalk of Leticia and board a boat to Puerto Nariño, cruising down the Amazon River for 2 hours. In Puerto Nariño, we will explore the village and discuss the Ticuna, Cocama and Yagua tribes. Later, we will embark on a nocturnal expedition in the jungles, returning to the hotel for the night.
Day 2
The day starts with breakfast and a visit to Maloka Tikuna, where you will learn about ancestral rites and participate in local game workshops. After lunch, we will enjoy a boat trip on the Loretoyacu River, discussing local wildlife and enjoying a sunset before returning to the hotel for dinner and rest.
Day 3
After breakfast, we will head to the Lake Tarapoto wetlands and return to Puerto Nariño via a jungle trail. After 3 hours, we will arrive at the indigenous community of San Martin de Amacayacu, where we will have lunch and learn about community life. Overnight will be spent in a hotel in the area.
Day 4
Following breakfast, we will take a canoe ride through Amacayacu National Park to Mocagua, where we will learn about local traditions. After lunch, we will visit the monkey sanctuary, where you can feed rescued primates before returning to the hotel in Puerto Nariño.
Day 5
On the final day, we will return to Leticia. After breakfast at the hotel in Mocagua, we will depart at 7 am and complete the journey in 90 minutes, concluding the tour at the initial meeting point.
