Tour Details

Day 1

Meet at the boardwalk of Leticia and board a boat to Puerto Nariño. Cruise the Amazon River for 2 hours, exploring the village and discussing the Ticuna, Cocama, and Yagua tribes. In the evening, embark on a nocturnal expedition through the jungles, discovering exotic insects and amphibians. Return to the hotel to rest.

Day 2

Enjoy breakfast and visit Maloka Tikuna to learn about ancestral rites and customs from local families. Participate in a workshop with local games and natural paints. After lunch, take a boat trip on the Loretoyacu River, observing crocodiles, piranhas, and river dolphins. End the day by watching the sunset and spotting black caimans, followed by dinner and a return to the hotel.

Day 3

Begin with views of the Lake Tarapoto wetlands. After breakfast, return to Puerto Nariño and cross the jungle on wooden bridges. After 3 hours, arrive at the indigenous community of San Martin de Amacayacu, where you'll have lunch and learn about their way of life. Spend the night in a hotel in the community.

Day 4

Start with breakfast and a canoe ride through Amacayacu National Park to Mocagua. Discover traditions and customs of Amazonian tribes. After lunch, visit the monkey sanctuary in Mocagua, feed the rescued primates, and return to the hotel in Puerto Nariño.

Day 5

On the final day, return to Leticia. After breakfast in Mocagua, depart at 7 am. After a 90-minute journey, say goodbye at the initial meeting point.
