Indigenous Community Day Trip

Have an unforgettable experience when you spend the day with an indigenous community in Puerto Nariño. You'll visit a traditional Maloca building and learn about the ancestral customs of these Indigenous people.

Day Trip to an Indigenous Maloca

At your chosen time, we'll meet at the tourist boardwalk to board the vessel to Puerto Nariño to visit a traditional Ticuna community.

We'll learn about the local way of life for the people of this village. The inhabitants will welcome us and introduce us to their ancestral beliefs and customs. The ritual will begin, where the Ticunas will share their vision of life and the universe.

Next, we'll participate in a natural painting workshop and engage in community games. Afterward, we'll accompany Ticuna families on a walk along the ancient trails surrounding the settlement, learning about the healing power of plants and its significance to their culture.

After 3 hours of cultural exploration, we'll return to Puerto Nariño and drop you off at your hotel.
