Leticia Kayaking + Abseiling & Ziplining Activity

When making your booking, you'll be able to choose your preferred activity or a combination of both. Each activity begins at the designated time in front of the Ethnological Museum, leaving you with a memorable experience in the Amazon rainforest.

Kayak Tour

If you choose the kayak tour, we will head to Yahuarcaca Lake, spending approximately 3 to 4 hours kayaking through the diverse vegetation and wildlife around the lake. We will discuss the Amazon's biodiversity and the lifestyle of indigenous communities during the tour. After kayaking, a picnic lunch will be provided before returning to Leticia.

Abseiling & Ziplining

After introductions, we will proceed to Kilometre 11 for a 10-minute walk into the rainforest. Here, we will review safety regulations and familiarize ourselves with the canyoning gear, including helmets, ropes, and harnesses. We will then abseil down to a height of about 131 feet (40 meters) before ziplining over the treetops. Following this 3-to-4-hour activity, lunch will be served outdoors before returning to Leticia.

Abseiling & Ziplining + Kayaking

If you select this option, both activities will be completed on the same day. We will follow the specified route for abseiling and ziplining, then have lunch before heading to Yahuarcaca Lake for kayaking.
