Itinerary Overview

Day 1

On the initial day, we will gather at the pier of Isla Bonita located at the Malecón of Leticia, where we will embark on our journey in a traditional Amazon canoe. Our adventure commences with a scenic 30-minute boat ride.

As we cross the border of the Peruvian river, we will reach the Marasha Nature Reserve. Here, a one-hour hiking trail awaits, where you can immerse yourself in the breathtaking jungle scenery and observe the native wildlife. It promises to be an unforgettable experience!

Following the hike, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in several activities around the reserve, like river fishing, canoeing, or kayaking. Admire the spectacular giant water lilies that populate the Amazon waters, or take a trip to the Island of the Micos. Once your activities wrap up, a delightful buffet lunch will be provided to recharge your energy.

As night falls, brace yourself for an extraordinary night safari, where you may encounter the elusive black caiman. Rest assured, our guides are well-trained in safely navigating these encounters. After this thrilling adventure, a delicious dinner will be served before we settle down for the night at the reserve.

Day 2

Awakening to the symphony of the Amazon jungle, you will be treated to a hearty breakfast to energize for our return journey to Leticia. After savoring the morning meal, we will head back to the Colombian town, concluding our memorable experience at the designated meeting spot.
